Join me for a homesteading workshop doing things just like Grandma & Great Grandma did. This is a hands on workshop learning to make:
chutney with home grown feijoas (chemical free)
relish with our farm grown beetroot (chemical free)
jam made from our garden fresh rhubarb and strawberries
bread & butter pickles
no knead wholemeal seeded bread - gluten free option
gingerbeer - refreshing after a busy day in the kitchen
This is a full on day of action for beginners, exploring homesteading and the satisfaction of making things from scratch, just like great-grandma used to.
We will explore quick and easy ways of making and preserving food that are cheap to make and you can fit into your busy lifestyle plus you get to take home everything you make - your family will be uber impressed.
Maximum 6 attendees.
Price is per person.
We'll start with morning tea and farm-style lunch is provided. Our menu will be plant based. Please advise any allergies. We can cater for gluten and dairy free for lunch.

This is a hands on and sometimes messy workshop, please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Workshop is for adults only and not suitable for children under 16.
Pets not allowed due to hygiene regulations.
We take no responsibility for damage to/loss of personal property.
